• Kettlebell Simple and Sinister 32kg Techniques | Ottawa Personal Trainer Camron Sabour

    In this vlog we're looking at the techniques in Pavel Tsatsouline's book Simple & Sinister. The exercises are just 4. 2 for warm up and 2 for the meat of the program. First for warm up the individual does 6x8 goblet squats and 6x8 halos. These exercises get your joints working properly in their full range of motion as well as build foundation strength for any further development of skills. The meat of the program is the Turkish Get Up, performed with kettlebells if available, and One Arm Kettlebell Swing. Just be warned, these exercises are quite subtle and you'll require a lot of studying to get even 80% correct. The first time anyone tries these exercises it's a very cringe worthy.     Another from the PB Summit, this one courtesy of Sue Falsone. I love this for the work to the mid traps and the fringe benefit of some lower abdominal activation. When performing this movement, keep the thighs on the floor but the stomach off the floor. I have people do 10 reps with a brief hold at each end position.
